The National Trends and Services facet is tasked with eliminating disparities by reducing barriers to resources through advocacy, education, and service. We provide funds to support community-based programs such as blankets for the county’s homeless shelter, engaging the elders of the community through visits to various assisted living facilities, providing entertainment, games, and gifts to senior citizens.
The mission is to execute a measurable delivery model created to reach women and their families through long-term programs committed to economic empowerment, education for youth, health initiatives and public policy leadership in advocating for social justice. The programs are enhanced through partnership, mentorship and advocacy. It is imperative that programs are accessible to the chapter’s membership as well as those in the Diaspora.
